Lot of chatter to buy now.

Yes. I have heard for years now "buy gold" but it seems to be louder now more than ever. I figure I will make a small purchase and see what happens. Especially after the election.

I've been betting on the price of gold through my offshore account for a few weeks. OVER has been the easiest money I've made in some time.

My advice would be to stick to the two main coins. American Eagles and Canadian Maple Leafs. :)!/

Don't get caught up buying all the different collector type coins. The premiums on them are not worth it.

How many ounces of gold can be stuffed in a small bank safety deposit box?

I would much rather hide it at home.

there have been cases where SD boxes were robbed. And if they are, the bank doesnt have to give you a penny

Wow. Premiums for silver are crazy high in terms of percentage. What is going on? :think2:

Spot price: $23.58
APMEX price: $36.51
Premium: $12.93
Markup: 54.83%

So stick to coins/round coins in general??

Yes. Stick to government minted bullion coins. Mainely, Eagles and Maple Leafs. (<)<

Don't buy bars or rounds(privately minted). The resale value is not good.

And everything on these sites are 100% gold?

Silver Eagles and Maple Leafs are .9999% pure and weigh 1 troy oz.

Gold Maple Leafs are .9999% pure and weigh 1 troy oz.

Gold Eagles are .9167% pure, weigh 1.091 ounces, and contain 1 troy oz. of gold.

Bought Silver Maple Leaf bars May 13. The price per ounce that day was $21.88 CND.
Price currently is $31.48 Cnd. Increase or 44%.

So why does the U.S. put less gold than canada/other countries??

And why would anyone bother with the U.S. coins over Canadian?

Simple. Idiots like rush_man are dumb enough to buy anything "murican".
